Well John has just taken on the "easy"one ;-)

Besides the 20 on the ANGFA Trifasciata poster there have been added the
following in the last 12 months or so

Gap Creek
Bloomfield System
Olive River
(these 3 from streams flowing east in Cape York)

Web Creek
Crystal Springs
Yirkala
(these 3 in Arnhem Land over towards the Gove Peninsula)

I agree with Roy, a project would be fun and a good way for all of us to
work together towards a common goal. I bet that combined we all have
enough
knowledge and experience with rainbows to write several books on the
subject.

Ok, I am going to take first crack at an article in an attempt to "shut
rooster up for a month". ;) I am fascinated with the fact that the same
bow
from two different waterways can have totally different colors. I am going
to try and compile a list of M. Trifasciatas. In this list I want to
describe their colors, the waterway name and location, and if possible the
water conditions. I think that I have a pretty good list started, but
please send me some data either about your Tris or Tris that you know about
so I can compare/add to my list.

My private E-Mail address is: ejdowden at mindspring.com

Thanks in advance for you help... ;-) If we work as a team there is
nothing
that we can't accomplish.
