With All this crap from Gordon we kinda got out of the swing.. What do you
say we work on a project or something :-) I dunno maybe we could try to
come up with a list of every known Rainbowfish held in captivity and maybe
give them a category from rare to common. We can use this for things like
the project of Cary's or the international species maintenance we discussed
earlier. I will be happy to compile the list and put the info on the net.
Maybe people will see what is rare and make an effort to get and breed the
fish and help the less common fish become more readily available. We can
also add to each fish the info on where it was collected, who collected the
fish and when they were collected also any water data. This is a simple
thing we can do if we work together and could be quite effective with all
the minds we have here in the collective.

So what do you all think? If this is a bad Idea then think of something
else productive. Another thing that needs to be done is to bring the Fishes
of Sahul Index up to date. Pick an issue and index it, send me the Info and
I will update it on the net. We can send our info to Chettle for the next
printing of the index.

I think it would be a lot of fun for us all to work together on a project
that would be another chapter in the book of rainbowfish info.

We also need to write articles for the Fishes of Sahul, ANGFA Bulletin, and
the ANGFA of north America bulletin :-) This is an easy one, it took me 5
hours to write the article that will be published in a national fish
magazine and it was 3,200 words! I think all of you can spend 1 hour of
your time to write an article. If everyone did this Adrian, Scott And Ron
would have enough articles to last them quite a long time. Hell half of
the messages sent to this list are long enough for an article in the
bulletins, if you have time to do that, you have time for a small article.
At the end of this year, before we print the next ANGFA of North America
bulletin for 98, the person who writes the best article for the ANGFA of
North America Bulletin for the year gets their next years membership paid
for by me, out of my own pocket. I will even go one better, if the total
articles received in a month for the three publications is 25 or more I
will not post any BS e-mail for a whole month. That has got to be the best
deal of the year!!! So if you want me quit then shut me up.
