Hi everyone,
I have been a member of Discus-L for a few months now and this topic
has come up many (ok several ;) ) times. The verdict there seems to be
that over feeding and not cleaning filters is the most common culprit.
With lots of water changes and filter cleanings they should disapear.
I've had them in my own tanks and I just ignored them, cut back on
feeding a little and did some extra mantinence. They went away on their
own. I have no idea if thas was a restult of my actions or not but a
little extra mantinence never hurts anyway, and it sure beats chemicals
:)
