Richard - First, let me say well done! I heard about this batch of Deserts
(Victorian - FWIU) yesterday, but won't see them owing to the wierd shift
I'm on at the moment - 0900-2200! Please phone me on 2613331 (w) or email
me here - we'll organise some live food for you! I'm not home much, but
someone with some Vinegar Eels/Microworms will volunteer some for such a
fine project, if I have anything to say about the matter!

DGs were the first fish I bred "formally", some nine years ago... From
memory we raised a dozen or so babies on liquifry and something else out of
a tin - very low-tech, but it worked! Live food is much better for them.
Keep the water alkaline and clean, without gravel (so that the live food is
available where the fry are, not trapped beneath the gravel...).
