I could give you a lot more, but the consensus of most fish disease
specialists is that NONE of them work. You may well cure the visible signs
but the bacteria will remain in the macrophages awaiting their chance to
break out again. One of the big problems is that this particular bacteria
has a 'special' coating and are generally unaffected by most antibiotics.
The macrophages are where the bacteria are suppose to be destroyed (I think)
but mycobacteria are reported to continue to live and multiply. I think we
have been through all this before?
