Gary, I would like to get some of these from you. What's the mailing address?
I'm in Texas, btw, so it should be ok I think (well, unless we have a lengthy
cold snap). Also, what size are the peacocks currently?

I spoke with a friend at Segrest whom I trust to tell me the truth and
understand that they do make an effort to identify the fish properly. Re
rainbows specifically, they primarily deal with one breeder and I'm told
their fish look terrific, and on the occasion that they have gotten samples
from someone else the difference is noticeable. This is not to say that they
never have problems and obviously I've not seen any of the fish myself (not
that it would mean much at the moment anyway given my inexperience).

Now, they do sell Marci though and know it's a hybrid. It's the only hybrid
they buy and it is because of market demand. I hope to follow up on this and
other questions with Segrest and Ekkwill. Since there are folks coming down
on both sides of the fence re offering this hybrid (when properly marked) it
would probably be an interesting discussion. I recall someone mentioning
their is an archive of previous discussion on this here but can't locate
where it's to be found. Can someone help?
