Dennis

Don't *even* get me started on this!!!!

I am one of the few people that has used this product (according to Tetra)
that has had problems. But, what problems they were! In all tanks in which
this stuff was used, the water turned a cloudy brown and the fish became
very distressed (gasping and uncomfortable). In the store I work at, there
were no mortalities, but in my fishroom at home I lost several fish -- some
rather expensive! It was used in about a total of 6 tanks.

All this came from one bottle that the store's Tetra rep gave me to try out.
That bottle has since been sent to Germany to be analized, and I have spoken
w/ a person from their Blacksburg, VA, headquaters here in the USA. They
take this stuff seriously, let me tell you! I haven't heard back as to
whether the bottle was bad or if it was ok, but I will never use the product
again. Even if all had been well, I would *never* advocate not doing a water
change for one month let alone six -- water changes are just too important
for a multitude of reasons. Needless to say, our store doesn't carry it.
;-)

Mmmmm is right. Be very wary of these types of claims by anyone.
