I use those multiple outlet things with the on/off switches on them. Since
the shoplights don't have switches themselves it works pretty well.
You know on the timing thing with the lights. I really leave them on a lot.
In fact I turn them on in the morning when I'm fully awake, sometime between
5am and noon (I get up between 5 and 6 but sometimes I'm not functional till
mid day). And I turn them off between 10 and 11.
