I don't think that Chris or Harro were asking anyone (e.g. owners) to
change the way the list was run and therefore shouldn't be perceived as
"whinging" by those who run the thing; rather, a request was made for people
to change how they USE the list. Noone is trying to tell you guys how to
run the list. All I see is a request for a little consideration to those
who don't have the luxery of free email and unlimited access time. A while
back when the SPAM tag was first proposed, it made a lot of sense. Since
then, however, it's use has been declining and so a request was made for
those who post on the list to please be more attentive to the messages they
write and make sure that SPAM is included so others who aren't interested in
those types of messages may bypass them. I don't see how that request
infringes on the level of service the moderators have provided up to now.
