I can only echo Klaus' advice - check out the home pages and you should be
able to find out all you need to know. There are numerous good books on
breeding fish also but most may not be up to date with info on such things
as APR.

I am assuming you only wish to raise a few fry for fun and replacement.
Also remember Rainbowfish in nature are schooling fishes and are happiest
this way so as soon as your fry are large enough to avoid being eaten you
can put them in your community tank and watch a whole new aspect of their
behaviour. You will be amazed by their displays
