>>Rhonda's feelings about suggestions is good and as we in ANGFA found may
be
wasted if the "wrong" people are in charge of the "bean-counting". I know
Julie likes to think well of most people ( perhaps except Peter?) but
sometimes they just are hopeless.ANGFA (ACT) did just as you suggested for
the National Aquarium in the ACT and were miserably treated for their
efforts.<<
You know, in a case like that, did you consider going to the media. I assume
things are for the most part pretty similar there as here. I was in radio
for quite a few years, both as an afternoon personality and in news as a
news director for a local station in Montana and as a reporter for a
regional (Western U.S.) network. I bet you could put pressure on them with a
blitz of well targeted media releases, if you wanted play hardball.<g>
Now don't get the idea that I'm naturaly combative I'm actually pretty much
a pushover myself, but I always think of how I would like to handle all the
so-and-so's out there.<g>
