Normally you remove the eggs 1-2 days before they hatch rather than the
adults. they hatch in around 7-10 days dependuing upon temperature.

I doubt vinegar eels would be of much use as they hang near the surface,
gobies are on the bottom. I would just try flake food crunched up and
sunk if I didn't have baby brine shrimp. You could always by some frozen
baby brine, that aught to work ok.
