Bruce, these guys are only fine, hair thin and are white they dont just go
on the surface, they dive as well and they seemed to go for the eggs that had
gone fuzzy and they are only about 6-7mm long.
They don't fit the Plararian descriptions I've read.
I was feeding the fry in that tank critters and algea from outdoors, before
I transfered them to another tank.
I've got quite a few fry now from the tanks and had no problem.
But I had only one strand from a mop and I had it floating on top of the
surface because most of the eggs where not clear but white and i wanted to
watch them a little closer and the next day they had alot-heaps of these
worms entwined in the strand and massed around one egg, hence my panic.
They may not attack live eggs but I was having more mops sent and did not
want to take the risk of wasteing these wonderful fish!
So I don't know, what do you think?
I have also seen them in with the fry but they pay no attention to each
other.
Dennis
