Seeing as this has made the list, original request/reply/request for further
information, can someone fill the rest of us in on what "show sanctioning" is?
My best guess is that Jim wants to have a Rainbowfish class in his local
Aquarium Society show and wants it to be "official", is this correct? Cary
replied so my next guess is that it is an RSG "sanctioning" he was after.

Is there a national RSG show program in place in the USA? Are regional show
entrants allocated points towards national awards, or is the sanctioning limited
to a nod and a tick given to the show rules/judging?

The reason I ask, aside from the perpetual problem of trying to keep up with
what is happening in the USA (based on it's alleged place as the centre of the
universe and hence there being much assumed knowledge not readily accessible to
outsiders ;)) is sheer curiosity - perhaps a national Rainbowfish showing scheme
is something that ANGFA(National) or the individual regional groups might need
to look at if showing fish ever becomes as popular here as in the USA. Or have
the BFAS Standards expanded to include rainbows? :)

Regards, Andrew

How can I forward something when I am trying to get that information also?
I see your request and raise and raise the deal by sending the money when
one tells how much to send. JiM C.
