Actually Gary is in agreement with the ideas I proposed to you. I
certainly am surprised you're here encouraging him. I'll take that as
a good sign of things to come.
What Roy is talking about is a few ideas on a common declaration of
principles between the groups in the US. One is a declared standard
for selling and buying fish and eggs through the clubs, including a
resolution committee to resolve any disputes. Actually if it's
declared what to expect from both the seller and buyer side, many
disagreements would never happen in the first place.
The other is making the Species Maintenance Program common to both
groups.
So you folks may have seen a few sparks fly, but it is really because
of a passion we all have for these fish. Sometimes a little clearing
of the air can lead to greater understanding. We still need to hammer
out a few of details, but I'm confident they can be handled without
too much difficulty. The important thing is these proposals are moving
forward with both ANGFA NA and RSG working together.
