Sorry about your DGs - at first glance I can't see too much wrong. They are
probably from the Coward Springs Artesian system in South Australia
originally. Generally speaking they like alkaline, high TDS water but
tolerate a wide range of conditions up to almost full marine if gradually
adjusted to it. A diet of algae containing benthic invertebrates such as
bloodworms is best and I have had them choke on meaty foods. Steve Polk is a
good breeder and a good bloke - perhaps you could ring him up and ask him
what conditions he keeps them at.
