Have you tried some loaches (clown, skunk, etc) to bring your snail
problem into check. I've never tried them with the burrowing snails,
as I've never had them. But they have been very effective in cleaning
out any ramshorn snails in my planted tanks. Of course they're also
very good at cleaning up any rainbow eggs in the mop.
