Your fish should be ok. I left mine for a week last summer by
themselves and the only thing I lost were some brand new cichlid fry.
Your fish will probably find little snacks to live on in the tank
while your gone and will be probably be just fine. I was just reading
somewhere an article on leaving fish unfed for extended periods of
time (wish I could remember where it was). I doubt they will have any
ill effects at all.
In fact if you find someone else to feed your fish while you are gone
you will probably come home to lot's of dead fish. I could tell you
some horror stories, like the time I went to CA for a week and a
friend who was taking care of my pets somehow managed to kill almost
all my fish (I was running a dozen or so tanks at the time) and left
my bird cage open so my cats had a snack of my pair of lovebirds.
Trust me they are better off alone.<g>
