G'day Patrick,

Its mid winter here. Last summer the pond got up to 35C. This year I want
to rig some shade cloth over it to try to keep it a bit cooler. I will have
a second pond this year and will pump water from one to the other, hopefully
evaporation will assist with the cooling process.

Our cold period - when the night time temperatures get below 10C probably
lasts 2 or 3 months on average. However the days can be bueatiful, sunny
and low 20's.

Regards,
Barry.
