How many of us are subscribed to Austasia Aquaculture (magazine)? If
you're not and you share an interest in Australian breeding of aquatic
organisms then you should be. Contact me if you want the postal address.

The reason I'm mentioning this if because the last issue Vol 10 No 3(check
it out at your library) has an article titled: Top aquarium hatchery
owner falls for the spectacular rainbows".

here's what I got out of the article:
The guy: Bruce Sambell
the price for rainbows: retail $10-$20
"at the gate" $1.50
the price for saratogas: $100 retail, $35 at the gate
where:Childers, Queensland
Bruce Sambell
Aquarium Fish Farms of Australia
PO Box 324 Childers Qld 4660
(071) 26 2226

spawning info
setting up farm
and more info

what I want to know is: is this guy an ANGFA member? Because ANGFA can
sure benefit from him and vice versa! Could the farming of rainbows be
detrimental to the environment (its already been debated to death!!) in
this example, how will the australian hobby be effected (most important
question? Wouldn't a trip to this farm be a highlight on any ANGFA, IRG
and RSG members calendar?
