The third ICC (cichlid convention) was recently completed and very much
absent was one of the speakers, Heiko Bleher, canceling just a few weeks
before the event. I have heard rumors from a german who was visiting
that aquarium rio has been closed and that may be the reason :-(

Can anyone confirm that Aquarium Rio has indeed closed? Do you know
whether Heiko is still a go for the ANGFA conference (I'm assuming that
he's speaking again)?

If it's so it will be ashame as who else is brave/crazy enough to pull
our fishes out?? We could be in for a long dry spell with rainbows.
