Re: [RML] goyder rivers

A few months ago, I had the black head problem with my male first and then
my female Goyder a few weeks later. They died three days after showing the
dark color. Fortunately, I had bred them so I have a few young Goyders now
to experiment with. My water is 50 ppm (soft) and the pH ranges from 7.0 to
5.5 and I do 30% water changes every two weeks. I feed my fish twice a day
with a mixture of Spiralina, FD Plankton, and FD bloodworms.

Are there any glaring problems here other than low pH?

I am planning to keep my goyders in harder water with higher pH to see if
this matters. Any other suggestions on things for me to try?

John
