As far as I know there are no PURE populations of werneri in the
hobby in NA. Mine are aquarium trade fish and very nice too. Until
SOMEBODY (no names please!) imports specific populations you'll just
have to do with what's available. And they are pretty nice so, I'd say go
ahead and try them. Check them out carefully but, in my experience
store bought werneri have been of very good quality.
